Forever Young

When John was in his early 20's he started to become an avid reader (I wish that had happened while he was in school:) He particularly like biographies, as he was always curious about real people much more than fictional people.
One afternoon we were talking about music, and John mentioned that he had heard many musicians say they were inspired by Bob Dylan. John wasn't too familiar with this guy. So I bought him a biography of Bob Dylan, and made him a bookmark with the lyrics of one of Dylan's songs. Now, this song seems almost prophetic in some way.
I wanted to read this at John's funeral, but I had already taken a lot of time. So I will write the lyrics here.
"Forever Young" by Bob Dylan
May God bless and keep you always
May your wishes all come true
May you always do for others
May let others do for you
May you build a ladder to the stars
And climb on every rung
May you stay forever young
Forever young, forever young
May you stay forever young.
May you grow up to be righteous
May you grow up to be true
May you always know the truth
And see the lights surrounding you
May you always be courageous
Stand upright and be strong
May you stay forever young
Forever young, forever young
May you stay forever young.
May your hands always be busy
May your feet always be swift
May you have a strong foundation
When the winds of changes shift
May your heart always be joyful
And may your song always be sung
May you stay forever young
Forever young, forever young
May you stay forever young.
And John will always be remembered as forever young...
